Before you check in
Am I really anonymous?
Yes. Rally Tally collects no personal data, has no user accounts, and requires no logins — to the app, you're just a blue dot on the map.
How do you ensure check-in counts are accurate without knowing who the user is?
Your phone generates a random unique ID on install. That ID — not your identity — is added to an event's count when you check in and removed when you check out.
Why does the app need to know my phone location?
Only to show nearby events and confirm you're close enough to check in physically. Your location is never sent to our servers.
